Brief Bio

Xinxin Fan received the B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and the M.E. degree in Information System and Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In March 2010, he received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. From September 2010 to August 2014, he was a research associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (E&CE) as well as a project manager for the Ontario Research Fund Research Excellence (ORF-RE) project titled "Privacy and Security in Mobile Ad Hoc Communications and Embedded Systems" at the University of Waterloo. He was also a member of the Centre for Applied Cryptographic Research (CACR). Since November 2014, he joined the Bosch Research and Technology Center North America (Pittsburgh Office) as a senior research engineer.
